Face Painting Ministry

The Community of Greenbelt has a Labor Day festival each year for the entire weekend of Labor Day. Greenbelt Baptist Church has had a face painting booth for the last (6+?) years.

Children of all ages come to the booth and get their cheek or hand painted for free. While they are painted, they will hear a Bible story about the rainbow, how Jesus calmed the storm when He was in a boat or another story about God's love.

There are other times GBC does face painting (the Easter Egg hunt, for example). If you have any interest in being part of this ministry, we can train you / teach you how to paint! If you'd like to be part of the booth but do not want to paint, we can always use greeters for the folks who are standing in line! Contact the office for more information or to volunteer to be part of this ministry.

Last year at the Labor Day Festival we had a number of youth painting! We all had a GREAT time! Come join us!
