The church is not a building, it's people! Greenbelt Baptist church is not a place for "insiders" or "religious people." It's a place for people who seek a meaningful relationship with God and with each other.

In a crazy world filled with pressures and pains, with hectic schedules and tight budgets, it's easy to lose your balance. We offer an alternative--a place to meet God and belong--a place to discover God and serve...

Worship is a process of recognizing the worth of God. The more we see the worth of God, the more we see the valueof centering our lives upon Him. We offer a variety of worship possibilities.

...and a place for hope.

Salvation isn't a theological abstraction--it's what everyone is seeking in one way or another. Behind our masks of self-sufficiency, we all have an inner sense that something's missing. That something is God's love. The word "Gospel" literally means "good news." The good news of the New Testament is that we can have a personal relationship with God through a personal faith in Jesus. Not religion--relationship!

Greenbelt Baptist Church is committed to proclaiming the hope of the Bible, that real hope for life comes from a life of faith in Jesus Christ.

Our Purpose: Helping People Connect with Christ and His Family Through Loving Service.

By God's grace, Greenbelt Baptist Church will be a multi-generational, multi-ethnic congregation, experiencing a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ, building bridges from God's family to people in our community and around the world, so that they, too, may become fully committed followers of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is the heart of love, the light of hope, and the joy of living. Life is an adventure in Christ. As we live out of a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the Lord will use us to make Jesus known in a thousand different ways. This is the ministry to which you have been called.
